family in the dark

i am in an apartment sitting in front of a computer. i am doing something, but i'm not quite sure. all of a sudden dylan and leah walk into the room, it's the living room and they are talking about how they are here to pick up a few things. i think about how it is strange they would still have an apartment in savannah when they had moved over a year ago, but i never say anything. i am in a car, i think it's a taxi cab, because i am not driving. i arrive in front of a home, outside are a bunch of little black kids fighting over a bicycle. and in the driveway is a little white kid. he's my cousin (though he doesn't really exist) i walk up to him and talk to him. i know what house i am in front of now, it's my grandparents' and i feel anxious about going inside. i finally give in to the dread and go inside. the layout is different than what i remember, the first person i see is my uncle terry sitting in a chair to my left. i walk over toward him and this is when i see my father and grandmother sitting in chairs on the right. i go and give my uncle a hug and then walk over to where my grandmother is. this is when i see my father act like he's going to get up while i pass him and then he decides better and stays seated. my grandmother seems to have to ponder whether or not to get up but she ends up doing so. she looks alot skinnier than i had ever seen her before and she gives me what seems like a reluctant hug. my father still doesn't get up and isn't really looking at me, so i decide to walk into the other room. i sit in a chair and the room i am in is really dark. i can hear my aunt robin somewhere, yet i never actually see her.

i am just getting off work. so is kristin, and she asks if i want to hang out and i say sure. we get in her car and this is when i see it is daytime (which is strange since i only work at night). we are driving for a little while i can tell we are near a lake, but i cannot, nor ever see it. we are driving kind of fast and i see we are coming to a dead end and i think she doesn't realize so i start to panic and point out that we are about to crash. this is when she brakes and she informs me we are at her fathers house. we are now inside and there is an older man there and she introduces him to me as her father. i shake hands with him. this is when i realize i am not wearing a shirt. a bit embarassed i walk into another room, thinking i had left it there. then i think that i took it off because it was my work shirt, though i don't remember actually removing it. this is when i see another shirt that is mine and go to put it on. kristin walks in and introduces a female to me as her sister, once again i shake hands. this time i realize quicker that i am not wearing a shirt still, the one i had thought i put on was only in my hand. this is when i start to try and put it on, yet am never successful at. kristin tries to help me, yet the shirt never actually gets on me. i start getting frustrated.

around the lake

i am swimming in a large lake. matt is with me and we are almost smack dab in the middle. i tell matt i don't think i can swim back to where we entered the lake. without saying another word i catch a current that takes quickly to the other side of the lake. this side has a lot of people and everyone is just chilling out i guess. all of a sudden i realize i had my phone and i pull it out to see it's still working but the battery is almost dead. so i walk over to where i see an electrical plug and as i am about to stick my charger in a tall black guy yells, no! but i have already put the plug in and there is a spark. i immediately pull the charger out and i see some smoke coming from my phone. but it doesn't look ruined. i walk a little bit and i am now at the top of the lake. i walk up onto a deck of a house where i see a plug. so i plug in my phone. matt shows up and we talk and then he says he'll meet me back where we started i guess. as he walks down the steps the people who own the house arrive. it is a family, but the only person i ever see is the father. he comes up on the deck and introduces himself to me. he does not seem disturbed that i am on his deck in any way. he brings me into the house, and it reminds me of an older 70's type interior, except for the fact that everything is covered in dog hair. i tell him i am allergic and i head out to find matt. i am walking down a dirt road which i believe circles the lake and there are houses to my left looking out onto the lake. there is a hill, and i know once i get over that hill i will find matt again. then i hear something, and i see these guys who don't look safe coming over the hill. i duck inbetween two houses to try and avoid them. as i get to the front i see they are following me.

i am with a friend, but i'm not entirely who he is. we are sitting in a car, i am in the backseat he is in the passenger seat up front. we have been drinking, and i believe we both are still drinking. we are on the side of a road, or a parking lot, but we are not driving, nor do we intend to. next thing i know a cop is looking through the window and sees that we are drinking. my friend kind of freaks out, but doesn't say anything. the cop says something to the fact that there are no keys in the ignition. he offers us a ride. he drops us off at an apartment complex and he hands me a card and twenty five dollars. i tell him the money isn't nessasary, and he tells me that he'll be reinburst the money. i hand a ten to my friend and we walk into the apartment complex. we go to the first door on the left and we can hear alot of noise, people having a good time somewhere else down the hall. i think to myself, i'm glad i don't live here where the walls are so thin. we knock and a girl answers the door, it's a friend of ours. again, i'm not to sure of who she is, but she seems familiar. she has three roommates. (this part gets a bit fuzzy) i notice i have a feature on my phone that causes lines to come out of it in a kind of explosion depending on how i shake it. we leave here, it is my friend and the female friend. we walk through the hallway, and this is when i see all of the noise i had heard earlier was a sorority which was having a function. the door was open and i could see a few girls sitting on chairs against the wall. next thing i know i am at my mom's home. i might live here but i am not sure. we are on a front screened in porch. my mom come's out and she is talking about how she just got a new phone. i was excited because it was some crazy new phone. she then throws me something and i look down and it's the phone. she tells me she got me one too, i am excited and i start to flip the different parts around and playing with it.

the island

i grab onto a guy as he uses some kind of jetpack to take off. i feel like i'm some kind of undercover agent of some sort. the guy is mad that i am on him, but i have locked myself so he cannot get me off, nor control any of his mechanisms. i am telling him he needs to give me whatever he has taken (i have no idea what it was, never is mentioned, so unless it is from earlier in the dream i cannot remember, i am nit sure). he tells me no, and i tell him i'm not afraid to die. at this point we are extremely high over the city, it looks like new york city maybe, very large. the jetpack runs out of fuel and we start to fall. he is wearing a parachute, but i am in control of it. we are falling faster and faster, and i tell him he needs to give me the item. finally we are getting really close and pulls out a piece of paper and wants to sign a contract. i pull the string and the parachute pops out just in the nick of time. i tell him that i'm going to bring us down on the island (i gave it an actual title, but i do not remember it now). he's a bit nervous about the island. we land and we imediatley see someone with a knife trying to kill someone else. i go to stop him, and in the background some guy is holding a weird looking large gun that emits a loud sonic noise, i look and see it has put s hole in a wall. i start to run in the other direction, i duck inbetween a few buildings. i keep going in and out of the buildings until a black police officer lady wants to see my papers. i had it to her and she says thank, all of a sudden she is being accompanined by a robot version of her to asks the cop if i look like i can be trusted or something. the cop lady laughs and says i look innocent enough. i start to move on and there is a group of people waiting to be checked by the lady cop. a guy is sitting there and asks her if she could make him a drink. i think to myself it was an odd request.

jungle school

i walk up to what should be a school. there are shelves with books on them, and there are students walking around and sitting to read. but throughout the bookshelves are vines and looking pass this, the library ends on a small cliff. looking beyond this is a jungle, but yet still many students are walking through it. i come to a spot where wooden steps are going down to the bottom. here, there are students and also monkey men, the later still talk and act as though they are human, yet they are more agile like a monkey, not to mention all the hair. i take the steps to the bottom, or i assume i do because i am there. in the far right corner is a a group of students sitting at attention. i walk over to see what is going on and all of a sudden a man shows up, it is an old friend scott storey. he looks rushed and he says a weak hi to me, and then says, "i don't remember why we aren't friends anymore." i go to respond to him, but he's trying to get into his office. he doesn't tell me but i know it's his first day of work teaching, and he is late. he cannot open his office door, and ends breaking through the wood which is in place of what i assume should be a window. he then opens the door in preperation to teach.

a baby on the way

i am informed i have a baby on the way from the mother. my rationalization of how this comes never goes through my mind. but she has the baby within seconds in my dream and i am not there. though i keep seeing the two of them, my baby and the mother. i need to get there, but i decide i need to talk to valerie first. i need to a have a heart to heart with her. a car pulls up and she is in the back seat with someone so i get in the passenger side of the front. the car starts driving and the guy in the back seat keeps talking to her and i start getting annoyed because i really want to talk to her so i can get to my baby. the car stops and the guy gets out of the car so i get out and jump in the back of the car with her to have my talk, but then i realize two other people have done the same thing. i feel like everyone wants her time, like she's ghandi or something, and i run out of time. i ask to be driven to where my baby is.

bright fish

matt and i are in a lake. and when i say in, at this point i'm not sure. i can see all around me, and the lake isn't that big. the next thing i know i am holding a fishing pole and i am reeling in a fish. when i pulled the fish out of the water it was a sun fish, but it was the brightest sun fish i had ever seen. it was almost glowing. i was showing matt the fish when i think he realized first, but i was quick to notice after this. we were in an old boat, which wasn't ours. the boat was filled with dead fish and flies were everywhere. i started to freak out.

matt, the cheater

i am sitting at a round table. i believe i am in a school library and there is trivia going on. my team is at the far end of the library and looking over i can see at least ten other tables going in a straight line to the opposite side of the room. i cannot remember any of the questions, but i know i get an answer correct and my team and i are excited. but then when the next question is asked there is just a lot of talking and i start getting annoyed that no one is paying attention. the next thing i know matt feldmann shows up and we wants to talk to me. so i leave and he ends up telling me has been having an affair with his neighbor who looks like beth breen to me. i can see in my mind his house, and hers being right next door. i try and imagine how this could have happened and this is when i realize matt is married to mandy. now he is telling me why he has to end it, and he wants me to help him. so he tells me to meet him at this building. so when i try and get there i am stuck at a bridge where the water has risen over it. i see people using the sides to inch themselves across and i do the same. i remember seeing a woman in a wheelchair in the water, but she was making it somehow. i arrive at the building and it is a strange round building, it looks like it is two floors as i enter. when i get inside i see someone who looks like erich becker sitting in a corner crying. he confesses his love for beth and how he can't believe she would want anyone else. i see matt and he tells me she is upstairs. i find her upstairs and we go in a room, this is when i notice the floor is moving. i see that as the floor moves so does the door which now exits to another location. i explain to beth that matt wants to end things and she angry, more at that fact that i am ending it and not him. we go through the door and somehow i am now getting in a car with friends who look like the guys from entourage. we start to drive and they something about going to a concert. i now realize the person in the back seat next to me is michael rodriguez. all of the sudden the car stops and the driver and vince get out. michael and some bald guy stay in the backseat. as we walk, there are a bunch of cars in a personal driveway, and there are some guys sitting on the curb next to the cars. vince throws three small bundles of money at one guy. another guy pulls out some marijaunna and starts rolling some joints. all of a sudden i look over and the car is driving away and i see that michael and the other guy are still in the backseat. i say something to vince and he laughs saying they are just fucking around. i think they've been car jacked.
